South of England Senior & U20 Indoor T&F Champs Frankie Johnson won the U20 Pole Vault 4.80m

Some strong runs on an energy sapping course with a divsional win for Ben Alcock in the Senior Men. Jack Douglas and Matt Bray also made the top ten. Rebecca Murray ran away to an emphatic victory in the senior womens’s race, Alice Burgin was fourth and Jo Wilkinson made the top ten in the division.  Tristan Cook led home the U15 Boys team, Zena Saez won the U13 boys race. Tia Wilson was a clear winner in the U17/U20 womens race with Josie Smith first in the F20 category.  Sofia Perusko led home the U15 girls team in fourth, Natalie Simmons was just outsprinted finishing second in the U13 girls race.  Rosie Foster was well up in the U11 girls race. In the Masters categories Alan Turnbull was first M50 home & Paul Wilkerson second M60.

Teams After four rounds we are wining from MMKAC by around 500 pts. We also lead the mens category by 200 points from MMKAC and are second to Chiltern in the women’s category. For seniors we are second to MMKAC (we won at Keysoe) for Juniors we are second to Chiltern.

In the categories senior men second (we won at Keysoe), senior women fourth (we won at Keysoe). U20 men we are winning, U17 men second (we won at Keysoe), U15 boys third, U13 boys third. U17/U20 women we are winning, U15 girls we are second, U13 girls we are third.

Bedfordshire County XC Championships, Shuttleworth Park

We had good numbers out in the county cross country championships although the fields were quite small. Darren Deed was a clear winner in the Senior Men’s race, Zena Saez was first home in the U13 Boys. Tia Wilson and Josie Smith were the first home in their respective categories. Team golds were won in all bar the senior races where teams were one person short.
